Description
Garnie is a fresh cheese with a short shelf life, but it can be frozen. This batch of Garnie is being made on 5th February, and will available for ordering for delivery that week only. Please freeze this cheese on arrival if you are not using it right away.
We are delighted to introduce a fresh cheese that's perfect for grilling and BBQs, and tasty in toasties, paninis and salads. Drizzle with a flavoured oil of your choice or coat in seasoning before cooking.
Garnie is a halloumi-style, squeaky cheese that can be grilled or fried. It's made with pasteurised milk from our organic, cow-with-calf dairy and it's named after one of the fields on the farm.
Use it fresh from the fridge on arrival, or since this style of cheese freezes really well, if you're not going to use your Garnie grilling cheese soon, we'd recommend freezing it till you need it, then defrosting it in the fridge overnight before use.

Delivery
Your cheese order will be delivered in Woolcool packaging, a system of eco-friendly insulated packaging made from sheep’s wool. This packaging keeps our cheeses below 5oC for 48 hours so that they reach you perfectly chilled and ready to enjoy. Cheeses are sent using a next day delivery courier service, however occasionally delivery can be delayed. If you receive your cheese a day later than expected, the cheese will be absolutely fine. The Sorba-freeze ice packs we use are reusable, they can be dehydrated (on a radiator) and rehydrated with water and refrozen.

We dispatch orders twice a week, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For same week delivery, please place your order by 1pm on Tuesday.
You can schedule your delivery in advance, although some products, such as Garnie, have restricted dispatch windows.
