Strongly flavoured blue cheese crumbles
Description

Our Fleet Valley Blue cheese is an unpressed blue, which means that when cut it can be a wee bit crumbly. Each week, alongside neat stacks of blue cheese wedges, we usually find ourselves with quite a lot of blue cheese crumbs.

Since these are the crumbliest parts of the blue cheese, we find they are particularly strongly flavoured, and our team tend to use them in soups, quiches or as blue cheese on toast.

At the moment we simply have too much blue cheese crumb for our team to get through, and so we thought we’d make it available to you.

These are 250g portions, which we think is probably the right amount for a couple of pots of soup (or one big very cheesy pot), or a couple of quiches or tarts.

We recommend using this product within a week of receiving it.

Your cheese order will be delivered in Woolcool packaging, a system of eco-friendly insulated packaging made from sheep’s wool. This packaging keeps our cheeses below  5oC  for 48 hours so that they reach you perfectly chilled and ready to enjoy. Cheeses are sent using a next day delivery courier service, however occasionally delivery can be delayed. If you receive your cheese a day later than expected, the cheese will be absolutely fine. The Sorba-freeze ice packs we use are reusable, they can be dehydrated (on a radiator) and rehydrated with water and refrozen.

We dispatch orders twice a week, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For same week delivery, please place your order by 1pm on Tuesday.

You can schedule your delivery in advance, although some products, such as Garnie, have restricted dispatch windows.
