A Cheesy Night In

A bundle of cheese and cheeseboard favourites
Description

Four different cheeses bundled with small jars of beautiful preserves from our neighbours, Galloway Lodge Preserves and lots of lovely artisan oatcakes.  Everything you need to enjoy a cheesy night in – just add wine!

This bundle includes: 

  • 4 x small retail packs of The Ethical Dairy cheese, total weight at least 500g
  • 1 small jar of Poacher’s Pickle Chutney 200g
  • 1 small jar of  Bramley Apple Chutney 200g 
  • Locally made artisan oatcakes (9 x Plain, 9 x Cracked Black Pepper)

This product includes postage. All our cheeses are organic and vegetarian, made with unpasturised milk from our cow with calf dairy farm in south west Scotland, where calves get to stay with their mum to suckle naturally. 

Poacher’s Pickle is our absolute favourite chutney and it goes perfectly with our cheeses. It’s a tomato and apple based chutney, made slowly to a traditional recipe in small batches, which creates a beautiful depth of flavour. Bramley Apple Chutney is a slow cooked apple and cider chutney, and the tasty artisan oatcakes are made by a local bakery, just down the road from us.

Our blue cheeses and Rainton Tomme are best consumed within 4 weeks, all other cheeses are best consumed within 5 weeks.

4 x small retail packs, approx. 130g to 140g, of four different cheeses.

Poacher’s Pickle 

Ingredients: Tomatoes, Sugar, Malt Vinegar (5%) (BARLEY), Raisins (SULPHITES), Apple Flake (SULPHITES), Water, Kibbled Onion, Salt, Mixed Spices, MUSTARD Seeds.

Bramley Apple Chutney

Ingredients: Bramley Apples (42%), Sugar, Cider Vinegar, Raisins, Malt Vinegar (BARLEY), Cider, Apple Flake, Onions, Salt, Nutmeg, MUSTARD Seeds. Allergens: Allergens: Mustard, Barley.   

Oatcakes (Plain)

Ingredients: Oatmeal (83%) (GLUTEN), Rapeseed Oil, Water, Sugar, Salt, Raising Agent (Bicarbonate of Soda).

Oatcakes (Cracked Black Pepper)

Ingredients: Oatmeal (83%) (GLUTEN), Rapeseed Oil, Water, Sugar, Cracked Black Pepper (0.8%), Salt, Raising Agent (Bicarbonate of Soda).

Your cheese order will be delivered in Woolcool packaging, a system of eco-friendly insulated packaging made from sheep’s wool. This packaging keeps our cheeses below  5oC  for 48 hours so that they reach you perfectly chilled and ready to enjoy. Cheeses are sent using a next day delivery courier service, however occasionally delivery can be delayed. If you receive your cheese a day later than expected, the cheese will be absolutely fine. The Sorba-freeze ice packs we use are reusable, they can be dehydrated (on a radiator) and rehydrated with water and refrozen.

We dispatch orders twice a week, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For same week delivery, please place your order by 1pm on Tuesday.

You can schedule your delivery in advance, although some products, such as Garnie, have restricted dispatch windows.
