Full Laganory

A full cheese of our great value savoury Laganory
Description

This is a full Laganory round, which typically weighs around 3.5kg. Weight varies according to moisture content, but the weight is usually slightly over, rather than slightly under.

Laganory is a young, hard cheese with a fresh, sharp and tangy flavour, and a savoury body. The aroma is sharp with pickled notes and the texture is firm with a slight crumble. With age it will become drier and more crumbly.

This cheese is handmade using vegetarian rennet and raw, organic milk from our cow with calf dairy farm, and is ripened for 2-6 months.

Laganory is best eaten within 5 weeks of first cutting, which will be after the cheese arrives with you.

Your cheese order will be delivered in Woolcool packaging, a system of eco-friendly insulated packaging made from sheep’s wool. This packaging keeps our cheeses below  5oC  for 48 hours so that they reach you perfectly chilled and ready to enjoy. Cheeses are sent using a next day delivery courier service, however occasionally delivery can be delayed. If you receive your cheese a day later than expected, the cheese will be absolutely fine. The Sorba-freeze ice packs we use are reusable, they can be dehydrated (on a radiator) and rehydrated with water and refrozen.

We dispatch orders twice a week, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For same week delivery, please place your order by 1pm on Tuesday.

You can schedule your delivery in advance, although some products, such as Garnie, have restricted dispatch windows.
